Midtown and Music Row, neighboring communities just west of downtown Nashville, each celebrate a rich legacy in tradition, diversity, and creativity. Watch our Local’s Guide to Midtown & Music Row video to take a look at these wonderful neighborhoods!

Known for its nightlife, Midtown is a favorite for locals looking for some non-touristy attractions. This area also encompasses some fantastic green spaces, music venues, and hospitals so residents really have everything they could want or need!

Locals love the vibrant nightlife, bar options, and live music venues. This neighborhood is perfect for an active and social lifestyle. Residents also have their pick of restaurants to choose from including the swanky Catbird Seat which is widely regarded. With its proximity to other Nashville neighborhoods, this area is great for those wishing to explore many parts of the city.

There really is no other neighborhood in the country like Music Row. Disguised in tree-lined streets, quiet sidewalks, and sprawling front porches the recording studios, label offices, and publishing houses look so nondescript you’d hardly even know this neighborhood was home to music row if not for the sign at one end. Keep your eyes peeled; you never know when you’ll spot a celebrity at one of the local restaurants or watering holes.

Music Row is often confused for Broadway, the bustling street downtown full of honkey tonks and concert venues. While there is always something going on in the area, historic Music Row is a much quieter area than the tourist mecca that is Broadway. You’ll see many up and comers performing downtown, but Music Row is where the greats like Elvis and Johnny Cash chose to record their hits and you can feel the significance in the atmosphere.

In terms of housing, most residents in the area reside in condos like the renowned Adelicia. Various high rises offer luxury amenities and lifestyles to their residents throughout the neighborhoods.

If you’re looking to rub elbows with Nashville royalty and live a luxurious lifestyle close to town, Midtown and Music Row may be the place for you.
